Tip Calculator ("the App", "we", "us") is built to be private by design. This Privacy

Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and your

choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. THE SHORT VERSION

- We do NOT collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

- The App works fully offline and requires no account or login.

- Everything you create is processed and stored only on your device.

- There are no ads, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not collect any personal information. The App contains no analytics SDKs,

no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party code that

gathers or transmits your data.

The information the App stores - your favorite tip presets, recent calculation

history, and preferences (default tip, default number of people, decimal

precision, currency symbol) - is kept locally on your device. This information

is never sent to us or to any third party.

We do not collect device identifiers, location, contacts, advertising IDs, or

usage analytics.

3. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

Your locally stored data is used solely to provide the App's features on your

device: calculating tips and splits, showing your favorites and recent history,

and remembering your settings. Processing happens entirely on your device. We

have no servers and never receive your data.

4. PERMISSIONS AND WHY THEY ARE USED

The App requests no sensitive or runtime permissions. It does not use the

internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, or storage-access

permissions.

Share feature (user-initiated): If you choose to share a result, the App opens

your device's standard share sheet so you can send the text where you wish. What

happens to shared content afterwards is under your control and outside this App.

5. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to anyone. The App has no

servers, no cloud storage, and makes no network requests with your data.

6. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

----------------------------

Your data is stored locally within the App's private storage area on your device

and is protected by your device's operating-system sandboxing and any

device-level security you have enabled (screen lock, encryption). Because we

never transmit or store your data off-device, there is no server-side data that

could be breached.

7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

------------------------------

You are in control of your data at all times. You can clear your recent history,

delete favorites, and reset the app from the Settings screen. Uninstalling the

App permanently removes all locally stored data.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children, and is

suitable for all ages.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

-------------------------

If this policy changes, the updated version will be included in an app update

with a new effective date.
